The project seeks: a) To improve prevention of malaria in homes through the donation of 300 insecticide treated mosquito nets to two native communities of the Kanarakuni river, and creating awareness within those communities for the appropriate use of the nets, b) To update technical training of community health workers for the use of information and communication technologies for epidemiologic surveillance, c) To improve teaching skills in the local community school, and d) To promote change in knowledge, attitudes and practices of basic school native students for the prevention and control of malaria.
